Sustainable innovation

Sustainable innovation is a new concept developed by Antti Hautamäki. This concept combines innovation and sustainable development together.

The principles of sustainable innovation are: sustainable development, participatory or inclusive innovation, continuous innovation, global innovation and innovative leadership.

Antti Hautamäki

Ph.D. Antti Hautamäki is a research professor (innovation) at the University of Jyväskylä, starting in this position on March 2009. Before that he has worked at the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra since 1996, as a research manager, research director and as an executive director of the innovation program. Hautamäki worked years 2006-2007 as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley School of Information. He is also an adjunct professor of theoretical philosophy at the University of Helsinki. He has published about 200 articles and books about philosophy, cognitive science, innovations, information society and public policy.
